INTERLABORATORIES CROSS CHECK

The laboratory has quality control procedures to verify the validity of made tests.

The collected data will be registered so that tendencies can be detected and whenever it is possible, to be applied technical statistics to analyze the results.

These controls will be planned and reviewed and can include, but without limiting itself the following ones:

a) Regular use of reference certified materials and/or internal controls of quality that use secondary reference materials.

b) Participation of intercomparison of laboratories or aptitude tests.

c) Repetition of tests using same or different methods.

d) Coherence of results for different characteristics from the sample.

BTC is on the way to deciding a coordination program of all the laboratories of the international group Intertek OCA, to make studies on several samples, in order to determine the desviations, of the results obtained in each laboratory, with respect to the measurement of all of them, considering the deviations of reproducibility of the standard.

Cooperation interlaboratories

As Caleb Brett Iberica operations department makes supervision workings on those exports which are appointed to them, and within this supervision is included the quality control which is made in Spanish refineries laboratories, BTC has the samples and certificates of analyses made on them. Being able therefore to compare its results with them.

These comparisions are made in agreement with the interlaboratories comparison procedure that are in the Technical procedures manual.
