AdBlue

BTC analyses AdBlue tanks in the trucks

AdBlue is a clear and colourless solution of Urea 32.5% by weight and its trade name is the solution of urea grade automotive AdBlue.

It is a reducing agent NOx required by the SCR technology for heavy goods vehicles must comply with emission standards imposed by European legislation (Euro 4 and future Euro 5).

By injecting AdBlue SCR catalyst to become toxic gases NOx nitrogen and steam, harmless to the environment.

SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) serves to reduce emissions that are generated during combustion engine through a catalytic converter that is part of the exhaust system of the vehicle

AdBlue must fulfill with very strict specifications. The specifications according to ISO 22241 standard(also DIN 70070) are detailed below:
