We are conscious that the new technologies count on an enormous potential to trim drastically the power invoice of the world and to reduce the damage to environment. Thus, BTC comes developing from their creation in 2003, a strategy for the development of new methodologies of work to create a frame that helps to understand better the relationships of cause-effect between environment and health of the ecosystems, and to have the information necessary to develop an integrated environmental policy.

Until now the political answers in the environment and health scopes they have not considered the interaction that occurs between both, for that reason, the strategy also has as objective the identification and possible reduction of new threats for the environment and health as well as the reinforcement of the capacity of the administrations to legislate of more effective way in this scope. Thus, added value which to reinforce the coordination between the sectors of the health, environment and research.
