BIOETHANOL
Bioethanol is an alcohol produced from maize, sorghum, potatoes, wheat, sugar cane, and even of the biomass, like maize stems and vegetal residues. In gasoline mixtures, it increases octane number whereas it promotes one better combustion, reducing polluting emissions by exhaust pipe, like monoxide of carbon and hydrocarbons. For that reason, BTC has optimized this fuel analyses according to “C.E.N. Draft standard for non-denatured automotive etanol as a blending component in gasoline at up to and including 5%”:PrEN 15376
Bioethanol/Gasoline (E5) mixtures are analyzed accordin to standard EN 228 or  annexed I of RD 61/06
